Online submissions for Budweiser’s Country Star will be accepted between February 12, 2013 and March 17, 2013.
How to Enter: Visit realcountry999.com and fill out and submit the official entry form. Upload a song performed by your band or yourself.
Eligibility: No purchase necessary. Open to legal residents of the United States, at least 21 years of age. Employees of WSBT Inc., Tely’s, Budweiser, or any other promotional companies involved in this promotion and members of their immediate families are not eligible to win. Immediate family includes: spouse, domestic partner, child, parent, sister, brother, stepparent, stepchild, grandparent, grandchild, aunt, uncle, niece, nephew, stepbrother, stepsister, mother-in-law, father-in-law, son-in-law, daughter-in-law, brother-in-law, sister-in-law.
Winner: The first 10 bands or solo artists(or up to 10) registered online will perform at Tely’s in Laporte on March 28th, April 4th ,April 11th, April 18th, April 25th, and May 2nd with the top 4 advancing to the Semi Finals on May 9th based on gate draw. Bands will receive an entry box and are encouraged to invite fans to place their cover charge in their designated entry box. Each night the total gate amount from a bands performance will be tallied by a representative from Tely’s to help determine which bands will play at the Semi Final. The top 3 drawing artists at the Semi Final on May 9 th will advance to the final at Tely’s on May 18th where the Budweiser Country Star will be crowned from the top draw at gate that night. The winner “Budweiser’s Country Star” grants WSBT Radio, Budweiser, Tely’s, and their agencies the right to publish the winner's name, city and state, and use the winner's name/likeness for advertising and trade purposes without further compensation worldwide and in perpetuity in any and all forms of media, unless prohibited by law.
Prize: Top performers from each Concert Showdown will receive $200 per night. Total prize value not to exceed $2400. Odds of winning Budweiser’s Country Star are one in 10 or depend on the number of entries submitted online.. WSBT Radio, Budweiser, and Tely’s reserve the right to substitute a prize should named prizes become unavailable.
General Conditions: All national, state and local laws and regulations are applicable. All taxes (including income tax) are the sole responsibility of the winner. Any person attempting to defraud or in any way tamper with this contest will be ineligible for prizes and will be prosecuted to the full extent of the law. Multiple entries entered by other than human means such as conference calling, computerization or other mechanical means to play are ineligible. Void where prohibited. This contest is subject to these Official Rules available at WSBT Stations in Mishawaka and online at www.realcountry999.com during the contest period of February 12, 2013 and May 18, 2013. By entering this contest, players agree to waive any right to claim ambiguity or error in the rules of the contest, or the contest itself, and agree to be bound by these Official Rules and by all decisions of WSBT Radio, Budweiser, and Tely’s whose decisions are final. Players agree that WSBT Radio, Budweiser and Tely’s and those involved in the development, production (including prize suppliers), implementation and distribution of this giveaway, including their respective parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, and agencies and/or any other person or entity associated with this contest shall not be liable for losses or injuries of any kind resulting from acceptance or use of prize, participation in contest, or any technical malfunctions
